An archive of all poetry previously published under 'Songs of a Sojourn' on The Wayfarer

Earlier this week, I announced some changes coming to The Wayfarer. Among them was my decision to retire the Songs of a Sojourn section, where I’ve been publishing some of my poetry incrementally over the last year. My rationale:

Poetry, though I enjoy writing it and plan to continue in my spare time, is more of a hobby than a craft I intend to put in the effort to work toward mastery. Am I good at it? I don’t know. Perhaps so. Perhaps not. But do I care if I’m good at it? I’ve come to the conclusion that my answer is “no.” At least I do not care about it in the same way I care about my essays and stories.

I did, however, hint at potentially archiving the poems I’ve already posted.

What I have here is exactly that: a collection of all nine poems that previously constituted Songs of a Sojourn.

I plan to keep this here for paid subscribers as a token of gratitude for their support.
